Friends of Christ Church
About the Friends of Christ Church
The role of the Friends of Christ Church is to bring together parents, carers, teachers and members of our community to raise funds for the children of Christ Church...and have fun doing it!With our fundraising we aim to enrich our child's education by providing valuable equipment, books and materials, and undertaking projects to enhance the building and facilities of the school. In addition, the Friends of Christ Church are hoping to start to funding additional activities like Christmas parties and trips. This will be done by organising a variety of fundraising social and educational events through the year.
What have the Friends of Christ Church contributed?
The Friends of Christ Church meet and through discussions with staff, agree on supporting the school in different ways. In Autumn Term 2016, The friends of Christ Church agreed to fund additional books for use in the classroom. Other ways agreed support is the purchasing of Year 6 leavers books and gifts at the end of Year 6.
