If your child is already attending another Wirral primary school, but you want to apply for a place at Christ Church CE Primary School, click here for an in-year transfer form which must be filled out and sent to Primary Admissions at the Local Authority. We have these forms in school also and we are more than happy to send to the admissions team on your behalf. Before applying, it is always best to phone the school to see if places are available first. Appointments to view the school can also be made. Once the form has been received by admissions they will forward on the information to both schools involved with the move. The schools will be in contact to discuss whether or not the move should go ahead. Once a decision has been made the parent/s will be informed and a start date will be set.
If your request for a place at a particular school has been refused you can appeal.
If your child is refused a place at any school, you will receive a letter from the Local Authority. This will explain why your child has been refused a place and which options are available to you.
To make an appeal you must complete the School Appeals Form which can be found by clicking here.
Appeals timetable for September 2023 for entry to primary and secondary schools, dates to be confirmed.
