'With God,
all things are possible' (Matthew 19:26)

Parent Partnership

At Christ Church, we value our partnership with our whole community, our parents are a big part of this. In 2022 we started on a road to establish a deeper partnership with our parents and are continuing to grow this. Through various partners from the community, we are offering more courses, workshops and opportunities for parents to be more involved within school life.

If you would like anymore information about becoming more involved, please speak to Mrs Walters, or contact the school office via email at schooloffice@christchurch-birkenhead.wirral.sch.uk or on 0151 652 1278.

Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)

In 2022 we began our journey to work towards this award. This award helps school to work in partnership with all parents and carers.

Increasing parental participation in school life leads to improved pupil progress, punctuality, attendance and behaviour. The framework encourages parents to be involved in their children's learning leading to improved outcomes in all aspects of school life.

For part of this award, we have liaised with several stakeholders, including parents and Governors to pave a way forward. We are pleased with the way this is developing and it has given many more ideas for how we want this partnership to grow!

Parent Workshops & Courses

We have developed a strong link with Wirral Lifelong Learning to host and deliver lots of workshops over this academic year.  As we continue to grow, we will be developing other workshops for parents too. Please see the table below and follow the link to sign up for activities.

Parent Talk

Following on from a recent survey of parents, we are developing a get together for all our parents to have a little chat after drop off on a Friday from 9am to 10.15am in the community room of the Sports Hall.

The aim of this is to give the parents somewhere to drop in and have a chat with a brew in the warm! Our ultimate goal is to develop a parent hub area in school with more facilities and with parental and carer support we are sure this is achievable.

The dates for the Parent Drop Ins are:

  • Friday 24th March 2023
  • Friday 5th May 2023

  •  Friday 19 May 2023

  •  Friday 16th June 2023

  • Friday 30th June 2023

  •  Friday 14th July 2023

All sessions will be 9.00 to 10.15 - although this maybe developed depending on the needs of the group.
